Since it has now been a year since the Olympics I thought I should write a short update. Wow its been quite a year! I am back to Victoria full time, in school studying acupuncture, and coaching.

Happy 2009 Everyone!

I hope you all had great holidays. I had one of the best holiday seasons since I can remember. The first half I was in Canmore trying to stay warm while skate skiing and running with Dad's snowshoes. Our family dog was helpful to keep my pace up too! The second half of the holidays were in Nelson, which was also beautiful and we did more skiing with great snow.

Now I'm back in Victoria and will start a new challenge next week going back to school.

As usual it has been long overdue to update my blog..sorry!

I am now in North Vancouver and starting to get myself back into real life; I'm not sure if I really know what that is yet. Beijing was an amazing experience. If you received my email, or read the race report below you will know the race was really tough, but overall something I will never forget.

I know this is much overdue, it has been sooo busy since the race I have not had the chance to write about it.

Hi Everyone. I know this is a long overdue update, but this time I do have a good excuse. Last week when I left Les Angles at 4:30 a.m. I thought it would be a good idea to have some cereal to eat on the bus to Barcelona. It would have been great except the milk leaked in my bag on my laptop...ooops!!

I,m very excited to share the news that I have been selected to the 2008 Canadian Olympic team!

Hi everyone...

WOW!!! Thats about all I can say about my day today. I am in Richards Bay, South Africa and should be sleeping, but am too excited about winning my first World Cup!
